2022/07/08 to 10 – Workshop in the Biosphere Reserve ”Oberlausitzer Heide- und Teichlandschaft“

From July 8th to 10th, 2022, the first LAND.SCHAFFT.SOUND. workshop took place in the "House of a Thousand Ponds" (Haus der Tausend Teiche) in Wartha. With 12 participants, the workshop was fully booked. The focus of the workshop was on nature recordings and biophony. Patrick Franke, an established field biologist and field recordist, spoke about his research, approach and the musical side of field recording. In addition to various inputs, there was a guided tour through the biosphere reserve, the opportunity to try out different recording techniques and space for exchange and recording session  in the biosphere reserve.
